UPDATE Saturday, May 29, 2021: LOTS more updates coming in the podcast tomorrow (listen now right here: “273: FULL Story Of My Tumor Surgery And Biopsy Results“)but AMAZING news is that MrPotatoHead was only PREcancerous all the way through so NO cancer which means I won’t need chemo or more surgery!! 🙂 Still VERY sore and exhausted from this one but SO happy and thankful and ready to recover and get back to better and stronger than ever!! 🙂
UPDATE Thursday, May 27, 2021: Doing much better today, still sore but already eating more than I thought I would be at this point and walking around a lot too in between lots of resting and on pace to get out of here by tomorrow!! 🙂 Also could have biopsy results as soon as tomorrow but could be next week to REALLY find out what’s been going on in there and what MrPotatoHead was actually made of but so far so good and excited to start feeling better and recovering and slowly building back to myself and better than ever!! 🙂
UPDATE Wednesday, May 26, 2021: I’m alive!! 🙂 I’m still sore and tired and very groggy but I survived the surgery and anesthesia and recovering now, going to get a lot of sleep and rest and hope to have more updates tomorrow!!

UPDATE Friday, May 21, 2021: Well that escalated quickly!! 🙂 The 3rd time WAS the charm, the surgeon behind door number 3 was my favorite and now my surgery is NEXT week so definitely a little sooner than I was expecting but I’m just SO ready to get this done and behind me and more confident than ever and also more scared and excited and nervous than ever, so many emotions and will of course share more next week on how everything goes!!
Well that was almost a week ago which means my surgery is TODAY as in any minute/hour now!! I’ve done all my prep already and I’m as ready as I’ll ever be, terrified but excited and ready!!
No idea when I’ll be able to update this but I will as soon as I can to at least let you know that I’m alive!! 🙂
If everything goes ok and smooth then I would LOVE to be out of the hospital Friday but it might push into the weekend so I’ll definitely be able to update by then…
I’m leaving my weekly Members Only Webcam show where it is right now on Saturday at 11am Eastern time just like I did right after getting home from the hospital after a long grueling pregnancy and delivery 🙂
But of course I can’t do it FROM the hospital so once I have a better idea of when I’ll be able to go home I’ll postpone the show until then if I have to so I can come say hello live and in person and WITHOUT my special guest of my Mr. PotatoHead Tumor that’s been tagging along for too long!! 🙂
So keep an eye on this blog post and I’ll update it as I can along the way!!
Again thank you SO much for allowing me to share the ups AND downs with you and to have this outlet and yes there will need to be LOTS of updates to add to my realest deepest darkest bio ever when this is all over!! 🙂

Im so glad that you are doing ok. I also just saw that you had a baby. I did not know that. Congrats! Being a parent for the first time can be scary, but you get the hang of it after the first year and you and your husband? Boyfriend? Baby Daddy? Father of your child will be pros. Thankfully you were able to catch this in time before it became more serious.

Very important: You will be probably be assigned a CA preventative team to watch over you for the coming years. Usually just means a check up, blood tests, a CAT scan or two over the next 5 years…and then then next 5 years. Be sure to go to these sessions. They are there to catch any problems that could cause a repeat of your current unlucky health condition. “Good smarts lead to good luck”, said someone important.
Saying my prayers that you are resting well after surgery. Praying that the next pathology report from the removed tumor is good.
