Yep the CRAZIEST week of my life continues BUT finally light at the end of the tunnel now!! 🙂 (“Wow, I don’t even know where to begin, AHHHHH!!“)
To recap and update:
We SOLD OUR HOUSE, while on “vacation” at Disney!!
So far so good on this, finished LAST moving trip to the old house yesterday, SO exhausted and SO over it but so glad it’s done and excited to start making our RV our new home!! 🙂 (“It’s official, the farm is FOR SALE!! 🙂“)
Bought a used RV to tow with the truck that’s 700 miles away!!
Our RV got delivered and is SO great and amazing and had a safe trip here from a great transport company, we still have no way to move it without a truck of our own BUT we’re getting there on that too… 🙂
Bought a used truck pretty much on the way home!!
Traded in our van so we had ONLY the truck!!
Got SO many faults and alerts on the truck right after!!
Gone to two different dealerships trying to get the truck fixed in time while having to pay to rent a car!!
STILL no fix on the truck and more appointments next week!!
The problems just kept going with the truck so even though we have pretty much NO protection for those kinds of things on used cars in Florida I figured I would at least call the dealership and explain everything…
And they actually helped A LOT!! 🙂 We still had to take a big hit on the van we traded in AND have been having to rent a car in the meantime but at least they took the nightmare truck back and… (“Our RV Is GONE, Maybe The Van Too??“)
While trying to get a 5th wheel hitch AND new tires put on the truck!!
Now trying to set up delivery of the RV we bought since we can’t tow it yet!!
We had to have the 5th wheel hitch we had installed in the old truck UNinstalled only a few days after so we could turn it in without losing the $1,000+ hitch too but even the trailer place was amazing and agreed to hold it until…
Our NEW used truck gets delivered soon because we found one WAY over on the west coast that will hopefully be the one we hoped the first one would be WITHOUT all the modifications and custom EVERYthing that can actually tow and do what we need it to do as part of our new home!! 🙂
But our time is ticking on the place we have the RV stored now and racing against the clock to try to get the truck ready so we will actually have a way to move our own RV!! 🙂
ALL while having to be out of the house in less than a week!!
Yesterday was the last official moving out day, but still lots more signing and paperwork to do this week so that should be done and official by next week!! 🙂
OH AND ALL WHILE DOING A 5 DAY FAST IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF IT!!
The second fast went really good especially considering all THAT!! 🙂 But today is the opposite of a fast aka Junk Day and after all the craziness it’s going to be a BIG one!! 🙂 (“Finally got my cake right, look at this deliciousness!! 🙂“)
Now the “fun” part of moving continues, the UNpacking and putting everything away!! 🙂 At least we can actually see our floor now though so we’re getting there!! 🙂
I know I am WAY backed up on emails and EVERYthing but just like my surgery/recovery I promise I’ll get caught back up as soon as we are at least somewhat settled…
And thank you SO much for always being so amazing and patient and supportive through all of these ups and downs and adventures!! 🙂
And this will be the biggest and most exciting adventure yet and I’m SO excited to share the journey with you!! 🙂 (“Guess What We Just Decided On… A Major Part Of Our Next Adventure!! 🙂“)
Of course I’ll be sharing pics, vids, and live show tours of it all once it’s not completely destroyed!! 🙂
