UPDATE Friday, May 21, 2021: Well that escalated quickly!! 🙂 The 3rd time WAS the charm, the surgeon behind door number 3 was my favorite and now my surgery is NEXT week so definitely a little sooner than I was expecting but I’m just SO ready to get this done and behind me and more confident than ever and also more scared and excited and nervous than ever, so many emotions and will of course share more next week on how everything goes!!
Ever since hearing “I think you have cancer…” from the first surgeon, of course it’s all I’ve been thinking about…
There were so many other things with the first surgeon that I just wasn’t comfortable with after really looking back on it though…
I’m so glad I got a second opinion from a second surgeon who I liked a lot more and mostly agreed with the first one but at least was a little more optimistic…
More like “I don’t think this is cancer but there’s a very good chance that it is…” lol 🙂
Now to continue my Mr. PotatoHead Tumor Match Game, I have ONE more surgeon appointment this week behind door number 3… 🙂
Some people just seem to go with the first option of anything but I get multiple options and opinions and reviews on EVERYthing…
Contractors, restaurants, clothes, cosmetics…

Even though that’s been a high possibility ever since all this started (My Medical Issue That I Couldn’t Keep Quiet About Any Longer…) and they found this giant tumor inside me, it still hit HARD to actually hear it out loud from a doctor for the first time…
At least he also said that if it is cancer then he can’t know anything for sure until he gets in there but he’s pretty confident it’s early enough…
Which means the same surgery I already knew I would have to have anyway would take care of it all and be one and done…
That was the surgeon behind door number one but with something this serious of course I want multiple opinions and options!!
But either way if it is anything below stage 4, I should have a whole new lease on life after this surgery with pain free eating and digestion in as long as I can remember!! 🙂
I still need to sleep on it because this is all just SO much to take in at once, but I’m pretty sure I’m going with surgeon number 2 because I like his technique a lot better too…
He was much more understanding about finding the balance between doing whatever it takes to keep me safe but also not slicing me up like Edward Scissorhands 🙂
Of course if the small chance that it IS stage 4 and has spread then that will change everything and we’ll cross that ass lightning bridge if we have to but hopefully not!! 🙂
So for right now, if we finalize everything with him then my surgery would be in just about a month from now which would give me one more good stretch to get everything prepared and ready for the big day!!

It sounds like my downtime and recovery won’t be nearly as bad either as long as everything goes ok in the surgery and with the anesthesia and all…

The good news is that he said other than my giant tumor, he doesn’t think I have any underlying disease like Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s!! 🙂
He said I definitely have signs of major food allergies but at least if we can get this thing out of me I already know I can manage food allergies with my diet because I’ve been doing that better and better for years now anyway 🙂
The biopsies for the tumor were just the surface of it since it’s so big and those came back as PRE-cancerous which is a little worse than just a normal polyp but not as bad as full cancer all the way through…
But they won’t know for sure if the middle of it or underneath it or around it could still be actual cancer until they get it out…
So that’s still the next step, get this thing out of me!! 🙂
I meet with two different surgeons next week to see who I’m most comfortable with then I’ll know more about SO many questions I have like how soon can I have the surgery, how long will I be in the hospital, how much do I have to be cut open and of course the most important question of all, can I see my giant tumor after I wake up from the surgery?? 🙂

I was hoping to have the results of the biopsy faster but sounds like it could be up to TWO weeks!! 🙁

My next surgery will be a lot more serious and considered a major surgery but at least a little more “routine” than I thought at first and not quite brain or heart surgery 🙂

UPDATE Friday April 23, 2021: Thank you all so much for all the love and support and I’m still processing everything so will have lots more details later but wanted to at least do a quick follow up because I promised I would at least let you know how it went but they did find a large mass in my colon that they sent a sample of to get biopsies so I still won’t know anything for sure for another week or so… My doctor seemed confident that we could get it taken care of no matter what it is but of course he brought up possible cancer aka ass lightning so I’m still freaking out but at least I can finally eat some real food and digest that along with all this and I’m just glad this is happening at this point in my life when I feel strong and confident that I can deal with whatever happens and hope you don’t mind coming along on this next journey with me too whatever it is, love you and thank you so much again and don’t worry the show WILL go on, I’m still doing my webcam show tomorrow just like I did the day after I got home from the hospital after being in labor for what felt like a week lol so this isn’t going to stop me either and hopefully lots more details and B’s perspective of it all too on the podcast this weekend!!

I’ve felt like a zombie and the worst mix of starving and hangry almost all the time even right after eating because of the complete change in my diet and so little fiber during my colonoscopy prep!! 🙁

I’ve had digestive issues for as long as I can remember, pretty severe but just one of those things that I tried to normalize in my head since it’s mostly always been that way for me.
It’s embarrassing and shameful enough when our periods start and we’re trying to figure that out, the last thing I wanted to talk about was that I was having red in my number twos too!! 🙂
Things have been way better in recent years since I cut out gluten and even better recently again since cutting out dairy and soy too and getting in the best shape of my life physically and mentally!! 🙂
I’ve always had lots of food allergies and sensitivities too so when I had a few months stretch of amazing digestion and almost no issues, that’s when I realized how not normal my “normal” really was and decided it was finally time to bring it up at my recent annual checkup.
The doctor was pretty alarmed with all the symptoms I told him about and sent me to a specialist…
The specialist was surprised by my symptoms and how long they’ve been going on too, so I’ll be getting my first colonoscopy in just a couple weeks 🙁
Definitely NOT excited about that but excited to at least get some answers after all these years.
I was “hoping” for IBS would be one of the best cases but it’s sounding more like it could be Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease…
BUTT (lots of ass and butt jokes over the next several weeks, get used to it!! 🙂 of course I’m most scared and worried about cancer aka ass lightning is what I will be calling it to help take the edge off, courtesy of Mike Calta when he had his butt cancer scare years ago, giving credit where it’s DueDue 🙂
And it’s not JUST the colonoscopy, I’m getting the full pornstar DP treatment with an endoscopy AND colonoscopy at the same time, one down the throat and one up the butt!! 🙁
I’m even more nervous about the anesthesia part since that did NOT go great last time I was put under but hoping that was just a fluke…
And really anxious too about the whole prep week before, going to have to make SO many changes to my diet the full week before, then even more the 24 hours before with an ALL clear liquid diet and LOTS of laxatives to clean everything out before the procedure…
Everyone I’ve talked to that’s had a colonoscopy has said that day before is basically just living in the bathroom… 🙁
I know I’m more behind on emails than I’ve ever been but this past week has been a complete whirlwind of craziness and at least just wanted to share what’s been going on and what’s been keeping my mind and body so busy…
Now it’s just a waiting game which I also do NOT handle well because it will be a couple weeks before the double procedure then a couple weeks after that for the actual results!! 🙁
At least now I can dive back in and get caught up on everything in the meantime and it helps to have good and fun distractions in between the stress and anxiety while I wait and prepare for all this so thank you for being there for me in more ways than one even if you don’t realize, your love and support helps so much!! 🙂
I definitely needed that good news and SO glad to at least have our RV back and ready for the next adventure!! 🙂
I’m going to of course keep you in the loop every step of the way and I know I’m in a better place than I’ve ever been to get through whatever comes and I hope the same for you and whatever battles that I’m sure you’re dealing with or will be soon too…
We’re all in these crazy times together and it’s all about doing the best we can with what we have from where we are!! 🙂

In case you missed my terrifying story from last week, I feel like we’re STILL recovering from all that!! 🙂
Recovering from the shock and adrenaline and rising costs and diagnostics of it all and not even to mention that we still have NO more definite answers than we did before!! 🙁
The first person that was able to look at it couldn’t tell us much because he said it was definitely something with the computer system which means we have to take it to the dealership which we have scheduled for next week now…
That journey will be a whole new terrifying trip since of course we haven’t budged it since then…
So REALLY hoping to have some actual answers and some idea of what happened and what all it’s going to take to fix it for us and for you later next week, thank you for checking in and the support and grace in the meantime, it definitely helps!!
I feel like every time I get caught up, something like this gets me behind again and I try so hard to keep giving you the love back because I couldn’t do any of this without you so thank you thank you thank you again!!
It’s always a roller coaster up and down and up and down and I know so many people are dealing with that same thing right now during these wild and crazy times…
I hope you can remember like I keep reminding myself that it’s ok to not be ok sometimes and to reach out for help and guidance while we all figure out how to process our new “normal” 🙂
I’m feeling better already just writing all this down and getting it out of my head so try that too next time you have a lot going on up there, just write it down and get it out of there because if you’re like me if you keep it bottled up it just keeps growing into a bigger and bigger monster!!

WOW well at least we had a pretty calm couple weeks without any major events and then the dreaded Disney trip did end up going SO great even though it had a CRAZY ending!! 🙂
If you remember the flat tire fiasco on the way back from our OTHER Disney trip, that was NOTHING compared to this!! lol 🙂
Everything was going super perfect all day, then we pull into a rest stop that night on the way back over halfway home…
I notice the brakes of the RV acting a little weird…
At least it FELT like the brakes, so I turn everything off, go back and pee and then start it back up…
Still feels really weird but I’m creeping so slow in the parking lot it’s hard to tell…
I test the gas and brakes a few more times and everything starts feeling more normal so I pull back out onto the highway…
Everything is feeling ok so far, speeding up 10mph to 20 to 40 to 60 and no big deal I’m thinking must have been nothing serious right??
WRONG!! 🙁
Engine starts REVVING on the highway trying to get up over 80 miles per hour with my foot OFF the gas and going on the brakes!!
Luckily I learned to drive with my first car was a stick and I knew to throw it in neutral immediately and at least that stopped our RV trying to turn us into a speeding bullet for now!!
But now I’m on the highway coasting slower and slower with NOWHERE to get off the road because there’s a median/wall on both sides!!
Finally just in time there’s a break in the wall just enough for me to get off to the side of the highway with the cars and trucks still flying by and me still mostly in shock!!
We were finally able to track down a towing company that could handle an RV instead of just the small car ones and spent the next hours until past midnight getting us and our RV back home safely…
We had an AMAZING tow truck driver that was able to thread the needle of our front gate with his forty foot truck AND our RV towing behind him with only inches to spare on each side!! 🙂
We STILL haven’t found out what actually went wrong yet because there were so many error messages and have no idea what the fix will be or how much it will cost…
I had to wait even longer after all that for my adrenaline to finally start calming down enough to “crash” and get some very deep sleep after a very long day!! 🙂

*UPDATE* Thursday morning after we got home:WOW WOW WOW wait a minute!! lol This blog post went out right before all hell broke loose last night!! We are all ok and safe but YIKES what a scary ride home and long late night, will update soon and still was an amazing day and so thankful for how it turned out but definitely WAY more insane than the tire fiasco on the way home this time!! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! 🙂
Just got done with my first trip back to Disney all year and I’ve been so nervous and anxious about it because it’s my first real major outing in several months when I couldn’t take the crowd and had to leave early for the first time ever last time 🙁
But this time actually went REALLY great and was amazing from start to finish and so worth the wait!! 🙂
I went in this time knowing it was going to be super busy and planned to not do hardly any shopping or eating so I could stay as safe and distanced as possible while just enjoying being back out in the real world and taking in the Disney magic sights and sounds 🙂
Even I was surprised though that I was able to have SO much fun without spending ONE penny for the first time ever!! 🙂
I didn’t go into a single store or even walk through any of the outdoor shopping kiosks!! 🙂
We brought ALL our own food to stay as safe as possible and not have to worry about crowded lines at food places or too many extra chances for a side of germs with our meals 🙂
We started junk food day with tater tots and vegan sausage that’s better than “regular” sausage like magic and I’m a meat and sausage connoisseur!! 🙂
Then eggs and one of my favorite Katz treats for dessert one of their blueberry minipies, sooooo good!! 🙂 Savored every bite of it nice and slow then did a FULL workout on the rower and squats and pushups to prime my body for the day, all while starting my period like a boss!! 🙂
After the workout had one more sweet treat before hitting the road a chocolate glazed donut that tasted even better and more earned than usual!! 🙂
In the RV in the parking lot at Disney when we got there it was time for lunch and our first delicious chicken salad sandwich with lemon cups (one of the best new discoveries too like a little mini heavenly bite sized lemon pie with crust and all!! 🙂 and cookie dough bites and some mint chocolate NadaMoo for dessert 🙂
Then inside we brought our own chocolate cookies and new discovery of Pigless Pork Rinds!! 🙂 And peanut butter cups and more cookie dough bites for dessert 🙂
And on the way out more chocolate cookies to get us back to the RV for another amazing chicken salad sandwich, finishing off with the rest of the NadaMoo and my go-to gluten free peanut butter pretzel bites on the way home!! 🙂
Feeling very good and happy with how everything went and proud of myself that I was able to keep my shopping cravings away so I could just get used to being out in the world again on this trip and still staying as safe and careful as possible 🙂
