Would you rather be a horse or a husky??

Me personally I’m both apparently.

I need to run wild with my hair free but I also need a very physically taxing job 😂

I sleep better. I feel better. I even eat better.

Being able to be outside around animals and nature and also riding horses is exactly what my heart and soul needed. So I’m doing that every single chance that I can.

And the hard manual labor that I missed so much from the farm has felt SO good getting super dirty and sweaty and exhausted, actually exercising my demons!!

It was perfect timing too because we were in the middle of getting hit by ANOTHER hurricane.

Nicole wasn’t nearly as bad as Ian though, it was category one and not worth leaving but the wind gusts got over 100 miles per hour and you can see videos of my teacup slashing tea around because it was rocking our RV so badly and my anxiety could not take it.

So I took a Xanax, my first one in weeks and just 1 and it knocked me out for 3 hours (after waking up at 4am).

And it helped make the rest of the day amazing!!!!! It helped just enough so I could be present and not bawling my eyes out and it was one of my best and most complete turnarounds yet.

And we’ve made it through my full PMDD period with only 1 outburst but even that was a quick recovery too.

I’ve started digging in deeper with my IFS therapy too so I’m battling back from every angle and really feeling great about my progress.

Now hopefully all this helps prepare me as my mom and sisters come to visit for a week for Thanksgiving…

To be continued with that much crazy lady in one house at one time for that long but I am super excited and optimistic though.

No more talking about horses!!

Just kidding it’s all I can talk about and go to see them every chance I can get!!

I even tried another new place AND tried Disney’s trail ride.

Disney was fun but not my favorite and the other place was a little scary…

First I got recognized by one of the other riders but I was on a horse that wanted to kick the horse behind her because it kept getting too far up her ass.

I had to be careful because I just saw my first rodeo but I don’t want to be IN my first rodeo on a bucking bronco!!

Then I ended up leaving my brand NEW favorite shirt in the bathroom there!!

But my favorite place of them all has had me back a few times now and there is a horse there that’s my horsey soul mate.

He is constantly peeing, clumsy and tripping (luckily he has 4 legs), wants to eat everything and is super needy and loves attention.

Who does that sound like??

It’s all helping a lot because I’m really bonding with animals and myself.

So now it’s therapy twice a week, horseback riding time as much as possible, yoga 1 day a week, lots of arts and crafts/doodling and more traveling soon!!

This all has really helped with my excessive shopping (still shop for what I love but a lot less impulsive buying) even though it’s full on PMDD week and I’m still ok so far!!!!!

So is every one else around me.

So far so good and by far my best PMDD period in a long time and I will let you know next week if we all survive haha

I also just learned the craziest thing. So. We’ve been having only about 5 creampie days a month because of being scared to get pregnant again.

Well that amount just almost tripled!!!!!!

I wanna be a cowboy baby!!

I swear it’s all I can talk about.

You wanna know how serious it is??

I haven’t been to Disney OR Universal since I started riding!! (will be going soon though)

I’ve just been trying to get around a horse every chance I get. I really really love it.

Being around horses/animals, being outside, and manual labor makes my heart happy.

I don’t know how the fuck I thought that living in an RV was going to be ok if I just stayed in the RV and didn’t go get my feral side out outside. Literally like trying to cage a feral cat!!

Of course my mental health suffered, I didn’t have my release.

I need sexual releases almost daily and I also need physical manual labor and to be around animals and be outside.

I was depriving myself of so much of what I took for granted on the farm and didn’t realize it.

I had to lose it all to figure out what is most important and has been missing and SO missed.

I’m also doing it with the help of therapists (yes plural) and prozac so I am slightly less of an asshole along the way.

Doing multiple horseback rides this week and yoga!!

I have been trying to focus on movement because I always have to be going and doing something.

So trying to make healthier activity choices that nourish my heart and soul instead of random things that just feed my addictions to shopping and eating.

So staying super busy everyday… Check!!

PMDD next week and I am freaking out about it but I have prozac this time… also Check!!

I will let you know next week what happens during a medicated PMDD but cross your fingers around your cock for all of us!! 🙂

This past week I was…

A MOTHER FUCKING COWGIRL!! 🙂

We did a weekend getaway at a dude ranch and it sparked something I already knew but forgot a long time ago!!

Every time we see a horse, I’m like “I wanna go horseback riding” or “I wanna pet that horse”

And while we were at the ranch I got to ride FOUR times, every chance I got and loved every second of it!!

I used to ride for hours a day many many years ago and didn’t realize how much I missed it.

And we stayed in a “Luxury Teepee” while we were there and YES it was definitely luxurious right down to the claw foot bathtub and all!!

Thanks to being more in nature and less in the digital world and a little help from my new friend Zack aka low dose Prozac my PMDD was the best it’s been in months and we had such an amazing time!!

So now I’m going to start keeping my eyes open for any trail rides I can find or volunteering to help with horses along our travels, so excited!!

WestGate has now given me TWO amazing things, B (it’s the company where we met) and reminded me what my soul has been missing (being outside with animals)

I also saw my first rodeo while we were there and that shit is crazy crazy!!

I don’t want to get near any of those bucking broncos but maybe I could have been a barrel girl 20 years ago!!

I can’t wait for my first official trail ride this week and to start making it a regular thing!!

It shouldn’t have been hard to guess from the clues last week but here’s a preview video reveal of what was my first Halloween costume of this year!!

I’ll be wearing that one more time and piecing together my other costume for the year now so stay tuned for that…

Instead of just Captain Hook though I actually ended up being Captain Xanax that night, after a full meltdown while dressed like Captain Hook, mustache and all…

I had to literally be drugged with anti-anxiety medication just to go to the Halloween party. It ended up being amazing overall, more below, but my whole aura was angry, loaded with anxiety and fear and SO much shame for how I act and can’t control it.

I am so happy to be so unhappy as crazy as that sounds I’m just trying to be OK with not being OK sometimes.

As soon as we got back I scheduled an appointment with my doctor and we talked for a long time about my recent struggles and symptoms. He thinks the therapy and PTSD diagnosis is part of it but the more in my face medical issue making it all worse is a raging case of PMDD.

PMDD is basically PMS on steroids and then my case of PMDD is basically average PMDD on steroids!!

So one of the most common prescriptions for that is Prozac which I’ll be trying for now on the lowest dose to see if that can calm the beast long enough for me to continue healing through therapy and exercise and healthier food.

It takes a few weeks for it to really fully get in my system so I’m not quite sure yet how to feel about it or what side effects I might get.

Ok now back to the fun after I told the nitty gritty crazy city details of my mental health and meds.

I ended up being able to pull my head out of my angry ass and make it to the Halloween party and it was all AMAZING!!

The Hocus Pocus show, the parade and fireworks!! The show was everything I remember and more!! I was able to get some candy but with my allergies I can only eat some of the “normal” candy and had to head straight to the allergy center to load up!!

We got home at 2am… two o’clock in the morning… I normally am in bed around 10pm and up at 6ish. BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!!!!!

Thennnnn… I got to go back to the dentist to have my FOUR cavities filled that I had been dreading ever since finding out about them a couple weeks ago.

It went as well as it could with someone who has severe anxiety about going to the dentist, but each cavity was in a different part of my mouth so it took SO many shots and I was SO sore for days after but better now.

The new webcam system is up and running and working perfectly too!! 🙂 I think this will be the first week that we try the password system with it now that all the kinks are worked out so we’ll see how that goes!! 🙂

So I attempted Halloween Horror Nights (bad idea but it didn’t go TOO terribly since I was only there for less than an hour), the real scary part was my mom came for a WHOLE week!! 🙂

I made it through all that with only ONE Xanax though (team no panic attacks) and now trying a 5 day Disney relaxation vacation BUT now kind of freaking out with how the weather is going to treat us and our very expensive Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party so we’ll see how that goes…

This party has been sold out for a while now and they don’t do any rain checks either. So we are going to TRY to take our asses to Neverland dressed as some awesome Neverland characters and I will be a dude!! 🙂

Not just any dude but I will have a mustache and a hook for a hand… how’s that for a clue??

One… two… the hurricane’s coming for you…

We survived Hurricane Ian but only after evacuating not once but twice, and I did it all without any more panic attacks so I’ll take it!!

When Ian was originally heading straight up to the Tallahassee area, we figured we would drive all the way across Florida to the east coast of Jacksonville, should be plenty safe there right??

NOPE!! Within 24 hours of us getting there, getting the RV all set up and unpacked, the whole county we were in went into a mandatory evacuation!!

So then it was pack everything back up and get back in the truck to drive ALL the way back across Florida actually right TO Tallahassee this time the exact place we were avoiding in the beginning!! LOL had to laugh to keep from crying 🙂

Therapy has been going well, 2 to 3 times per week, I would love to go Monday through Friday if it wasn’t so expensive.

I’m still in that raw stage where every day in between sessions can be a little scary but I’m definitely feeling like it’s helping.

And just in case bringing up one of my many childhood traumas of being hit hard by Hurricane Hugo wasn’t enough, one of my other “favorite” memories was being held down at the dentist because they didn’t believe me that I could still feel the pain of what they were doing, so guess what I had this week right after the hurricane??

Yep, a dentist appointment!! 🙁

First one since COVID so that was already a lot of anxiety and then worse when they told me I have 4 cavities since I went through detached/depressive episodes and stretches where I wasn’t brushing my teeth or showering.

So now I have that to look forward to in a couple weeks but this dentist was amazing, the best I’ve ever been to and I feel like I’m in really good hands.

I’m still struggling with my weight and comfort food but I’ve at least started moving a lot more again and getting a lot more physical activity and sexual activity too!! 🙂

Oh and the new webcam system this past week went SO great, a few hiccups at first but I think we have most of those sorted out so I’m excited to try that again this weekend!! 🙂

I have been having a hard time the last month or two (who hasn’t right??)

And it all came to a head… HARD!!

Right on what was supposed to be the 1st day of trying out my new webcam setup, I completely canceled the show. No warning. No real explanation (until now).

I haven’t recorded hardly any new content. Stretches of not eating at all. It’s been a mess. I’ve been a mess.

Everything was new and so raw with therapy opening up a lot of old wounds and traumas…

And I just found out I have a NEW tumor from my gyno but apparently this one isn’t supposed to be serious, called a fibroid, but I still have to have it rechecked in a couple months to be sure…

And I was suffering my longest PMDD (PMS on steroids!!) yet THEN a HUUUUGE hurricane decided I needed one MORE thing to push me over the edge.

It did. It did. Full on panic attack. I couldn’t breathe, my body was fully seized up, I couldn’t do anything but be in the fetal position, just broken.

My body still hurts from it now days later. I needed something to help, I was ready to reach for anything, even have had thoughts of drinking for the first time since getting sober over a decade ago.

I was grasping for straws, looking up medical marijuana, reaching out to all my therapists (yes, I actually have MULTIPLE therapists right now) AND my medical doctor but it was Sunday!! 🙁

My doctor is amazing though and called back personally and knew I needed help and couldn’t handle everything that’s going on.

He said with my past addictions he wouldn’t be comfortable with prescribing me something if it wasn’t for me also going through therapy at the same time.

So he prescribed low dose Xanax for those moments when all my other new coping skills I’m learning aren’t enough. Luckily, that was never one of my main go-to’s before my sober days anyway.

I already wasn’t doing great but the full fear I have of storms (I was super young when Hugo hit HARD in Myrtle Beach) and a big fucking monster new hurricane coming right at us… with us IN AN RV (first major storm since we went full time).

It was too much and my body and mind broke. I try so hard to always be ok and I absolutely wasn’t.

I pushed myself so long and for so hard that as soon as I started to open up it all became too much. I will never allow myself to put that much stress on my body again.

I am not 100% better yet obviously but I am not in the same state I was during the panic attack.

I’m still doing therapy multiple days a week to help move forward. Xanax will only be a small part of my healing in emergency situations and working on finding my triggers and ways to help keep my mind and body more relaxed and less anxious.

So laying it all out like this makes me feel vulnerable but I have always tried to be more open and honest than most.

I don’t want to hide or hold back if my story can help even just 1 person decide to get help and realize they’re not alone.

I’ve already heard from so many over the years that say my sobriety has been their inspiration to get sober too, and I’d love to be that same positive influence on more people being ok seeking therapy and counseling too.

Going through this for so long has been hard but I am ready to continue this journey, darkest before the dawn, to find my fucking ray of sunshine!!

So now with all that out of the way the show must go on!! I’m doing a test tomorrow, Thursday September 29 at 1pm Eastern US time just to actually try out the new system and see how it works.

That could be a fun phrase but that has been my extra crazy emotions the last week.

Following up after last week I had narrowed it down to 4 therapists and this past week found someone I really liked.

She was super official phd doctor smart, I pour my heart out to her and she was able to diagnose me but NOT be my ongoing therapist 🙁

Like “yep you officially have PTSD, good luck with that!!” lol

I was just mentally drained and excited to at least have some type of validation but also like WTF do I do now??

How could I have PTSD if I haven’t been to war?? How could it be??

I’ve looked more into it and it’s starting to make sense. Most my life I’ve been hypersensitive and she said I’ve suffered from it for most my life starting from an early age.

Lots of trauma and lots of things where I had to act against my nature. One traumatic experience after another just snowballing on top of each other for many years.

So now I’m back to picking and interviewing and down to two left, I’ve already had one great session with one and my first one with the other one next week.

Ugh. It’s been an emotional road already and looks like it’s just getting started.

I’m so glad my dad and mom are coming to visit soon, not like they had ANYthing to do with my early trauma and never any drama when they come… lol

If only Aunt Flo could come at the same time then we could really get this party started!! 🙂
