That could be a fun phrase but that has been my extra crazy emotions the last week.
Following up after last week I had narrowed it down to 4 therapists and this past week found someone I really liked.
She was super official phd doctor smart, I pour my heart out to her and she was able to diagnose me but NOT be my ongoing therapist 🙁
Like “yep you officially have PTSD, good luck with that!!” lol
I was just mentally drained and excited to at least have some type of validation but also like WTF do I do now??
How could I have PTSD if I haven’t been to war?? How could it be??
I’ve looked more into it and it’s starting to make sense. Most my life I’ve been hypersensitive and she said I’ve suffered from it for most my life starting from an early age.
Lots of trauma and lots of things where I had to act against my nature. One traumatic experience after another just snowballing on top of each other for many years.
So now I’m back to picking and interviewing and down to two left, I’ve already had one great session with one and my first one with the other one next week.
Ugh. It’s been an emotional road already and looks like it’s just getting started.
I’m so glad my dad and mom are coming to visit soon, not like they had ANYthing to do with my early trauma and never any drama when they come… lol
If only Aunt Flo could come at the same time then we could really get this party started!! 🙂

I am sorry to hear about everything your going through, it totally sucks I know for a fact. Within the last 2 years I was officially diagnosed as being severely depressed and having PTSD and I never spent 1 minute in the military. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life from abandonment issues to rejection to being raped (and I am male ) and having 3 failed marriages and just turning 50 and being single for the last 17 years. I commend you for trying to work your problems out. It helps and you will have your ups and downs and goods and bads just don’t give up no matter how difficult and emotional it gets. Always feel free to talk to someone who understands what you are experiencing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have PTSD and I haven’t been in the military. I was hit by a car 30 years ago.
I was diagnosed with PTSD as well (have a feeling you’ll find a number of your fans have been. which is why we will understand and support you however we can). Was physically, verbally, and emotionally abused by my classmates from 13-16 and made to believe i was nothing and worth nothing. started therapy at 22 and it helped me a great deal. still facing and dealing with it in certain ways, but i’m doing things now that i would have been far too terrified (literally) to consider back then. may be a difficult road ahead (at times), but believe in the end it will be worth it. and you know your fans are fully committed to supporting you! honestly wish i could do more for you (just sit and listen if i was able). always, always do what you need to and is best for you!! We believe in you!! 😄❤️👍
Nope you don’t just a crazy doctor. After 4 tours I don’t. But then again I don’t go to doctors.i was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago haven’t seen a doctor since and yes I have the c word my doctor told me to go and fun with what’s left 7 years and running with it I full time rv at state parks in florida as a camphost and will till I am gone
