To colonoscopy or not to colonoscopy, that was the question last week…

Well, me and my ass followed through with it and first things first I SURVIVED!!

Out of all my fears from last week that was one of the biggest even though it wouldn’t affect me as much, cause… well you know… I’d be gone.

I am alive and kicking and almost none of my fears came true!!

I did have a reaction and was a little sick after the anesthesia but nothing serious just really uncomfortable and irritating.

The place and doctor were wonderful and I was in and out so quick that when they called B he was worried something was wrong.

They were done in under 2 hours from the time I walked into the front office.

Honestly a lot of it was a blur before during and after and I’m glad it’s over.

I started my period right after and that’s helped with my hormones leveling out because I am nuts right before.

So needed and so ready for that.

I finally booked my colonoscopy and it’s TOMORROW and I am freaking out!!

Alllllll struggles are valid and don’t need to be discounted because someone has it worse. That can be said about any situation.

I survived week 1 of COVID then B got hit hard after days of not getting it.

What a week!!

I have not quite been myself lately and just felt more negative and quiet than usual.

Me gaining weight doesn’t just affect the way I look and feel it actually effects me deep down mentally emotionally and physically.

My thyroid really messes up. I have to stay around a certain weight/body fat percentage for my mind and body to work and thrive.

It’s rough.

BUT I’ve started eating keto.

So it will help set me back on the right path after my period.

I just hit a lowest weight in almost 2 months of 125 (which is way too high still I need to be around 115 or lower but it’s a start)

So now I have my dad visiting, while I get ready to start my period, it’s 100+ during the day (we were suppose to be traveling already) but I am pushing through all the thyroid hormone fog to get to the other side!!

Not everyday is just me farting rainbows and sunshine and it’s hard for me to be so much for so many people sometimes.

I have to remind my self I am human and not just a stage performer ALL the time.

We did it, we made it, it’s over, FINALLY!! 🙂

We survived our family tour up the whole east coast and are on our way back down alone!! 🙂

And all I have to show for it is an extra TWENTY pounds of comfort food stress eating weight, not counting the emotional baggage on my shoulders too!! 🙂

But there were definitely bright spots that made it worth it and Virginia at least went better than South Carolina too but still just SO glad to be done!! 🙂

No more rushing out the door every morning to meet some parts of family then rushing out the door again later meeting other family and doing way too much for way too long EVERY day for weeks!!

We are ready to finally get back into more of our normal schedule and routine!! 🙂

Also that means I can finally start getting the higher tier memberships going too!! 🙂

*UPDATE Friday, May 13* – We finally found an escape out of this dumpster fire so we’re leaving early on Sunday but that would have been right during my webcam show, so I’m doing my webcam show a day early this week on Saturday, May 14 at 12pm EST then back to normal from a more sane place next week!! 🙂

Wow I couldn’t have written this nightmare of a trip any scarier or worse if I tried!! 🙁

Anything I thought I was being melodramatic about going wrong basically did!! 🙁

The good news is I somehow made it through and just SO ready to get out of here and not come back for a long time if ever!!

The bad news is I’m 10 pounds heavier than I’ve been in a LONG time, I got glutenized at a restaurant that was supposed to be safe that knocked me out with headaches and joint pain and major digestive issues for days, had to get another COVID test after being blindsided by my own people, had a major fallout with multiple family members, had my personal space invaded at the worst possible time, dealt with multiple rude and crazy people, including myself!! 🙁

I’m sure I’m not even remembering it all after I went off on a MAJOR rant in the last Weekly Recap/Podcast that B didn’t even know if he was going to be able to publish lol

Full tears and rage and all while it was even fresher 🙁
