BIG bonus after a new record 2020 Xmas Donation Drive!! :)

I knew for sure we were going to easily beat last year’s Xmas Drive total of just over $1,500 since we were almost there with over a week left!! 🙂

And thanks to all of your amazing donations we did!! 🙂 Just over $1,900 total in gifts and giftcards and food that will bring SO much joy to so many families this year!! 🙂

Every year there’s usually a few things that roll in a few days late too because of shipping delays and all, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets even closer to an even $2,000!! 🙂

The charity I work with did the SECOND big pickup yesterday and anything else that comes through after I will make sure gets to them too!! 🙂

AND for this year’s BIG bonus your generosity and abundance and love and support inspired me to do something extra special!! 🙂

I had to cancel our big Xmas Disney trip that we had planned (248: Why We Left Disney Early & Canceled Our Xmas Plans), and I’ve been disappointed about that ever since the last trip 🙁

We’ve already had to cancel our January plans so far too and at first I was going to try to make up for it and make myself feel better by putting that money toward new appliances…

I had already saved up for a dishwasher and I was thinking oh now I can get a washer and dryer too BUT then I realized I’ll be able to save up for those later and something else would make me feel MUCH better!! 🙂

So I’m personally MATCHING this year’s total and adding $2,000 to the donations!! 🙂

This way my “loss” will turn into joy for so many others after a crazy 2020 when so many people need it more than ever!! 🙂

I won’t be spending Xmas like I thought I would this year but that doesn’t mean I can’t still make it magical right here from home and I hope you’ll be smiling with me thinking of all the people over the next week that will be helped so much by everything we accomplished together this year!! 🙂
